Lakewood Golf Club

The Lakewood Country Club is located in Point Clear, Alabama (that's a few miles south of Daphne on the east side of Mobile Bay). There are two courses, Azalea and Dogwood, initially built in 1947 but restored in the 1990's.

The Lakewood Country Club is associated with Marriott's Grand Hotel, located bayside across the street from the courses. Lakewood is also considered part of Alabama's Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, but the fees are significantly more expensive than most of the other courses on the trail, play is limited to members and hotel guests and, as noted above, the courses are rather old.
